Final Words

2020. What a year.

It feels just like yesterday when the world was shocked with the news of Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan.
It feels just like yesterday when Covid-19 spreads worldwide.
It feels just like yesterday when countries closes their borders.
It feels just like yesterday when facial masks, sanitizers, social distancing and working from home are the new norm.

And now… vaccines are here just as 2020 is coming to an end.

Here’s to hoping that we could win this war against Covid-19 in 2021, borders can be re-opened and families can be reunited.

2020. What a year.

It feels just like yesterday when I saw the two blue strike on the stick.
It feels just like yesterday when I mourned for my loss of freedom.
It feels just like yesterday when I flew back to Malaysia for good.
It feels just like yesterday when I signed the wedding papers.
It feels just like yesterday when I delivered.
It feels just like yesterday when I went in and out the clinic for my girl’s jaundice check up.
It feels just like yesterday when I cried over my girl’s prolonged jaundice.

And now… my girl is 2.5 months old, and I had gotten used to being a mother.

Here’s to hoping that Hana would grow up to be a healthy, happy baby and I could slim down to my pre-pregnancy weight before another year flies by.

Goodbye 2020. And let’s hope we get to say goodbye to Covid-19 as well.

 “Happy SAFE New Year”
